Acquire part time internship with local designer in hopes of not forgetting everything I have learned this year at school.

I don't even know whats all out there as far as local designers go...?

I want something fun, funky and a little different
..keep my sewing on the up and up, get me some mad screen printing skills, maybe learn a thing or two more about pattern drafting...(I WILL love drafting one day! I swear!)

I HAVE already made arrangements with Knotty By Nature ( a local fibre store) to help out on a work trade basis... about 3 hours of my time a week helping out in the store to be gifted by beautiful yarns and hopefully some knowledge of weaving. Gravy!

For a mustardy cause.

Using food labels, a shit ton of coffee, and minimal sleep possible, our project back from first semester was to make outfits for The Mustard Seed to help them raise money over the holiday season. Our display was in the Bay Center over the month of December. Must say, on of my favorite projects.

Behold 'Ready in Seven Minutes' made from Italimissa Stewed tomato labels, edging of pasta bags, hand twirled fettucini noodles and painted napkins. Saucy. no?

I am lucky for the women (and a couple gentlemen) in my life. I am surrounded by a handful.. a couple a handful of beautiful people. And for this, I am thankful. A wide range of taste and style I have the pleasure of being surrounded by.

Class has been a lot of things lately... positive and some things a little negative, it is an ever growing learning experience.
Again thankful. I feel an overwhelming amount of inspiration. I hope you all know who you are.
